Orange Sulphur (Colias eurytheme)

Common throughout North Carolina, Orange Sulphur is similar to the less widespread Clouded Sulphur, but has some orange color on the top side of the wings. The underside pattern is subtly different.

albino sulphur (Colias sp.) Albino sulphurs are not too rare. Without the color, it's difficult to separate Orange from Clouded Sulphur, so they're usually identified as Colias, sp.
