| Roundleaf Ragwort, sometimes called Running Ragwort, is rare in North Carolina, where it is found in rich forests over calcareous/mafic bedrock in the Mountain region. Very similar to the more common Golden Ragwort (Packera aurea), but the basal leaves are obovate or orbicular instead of cordate or reniform. Madison Co., NC 4/9/2012. |
