Tree Swallow (Tachycineta bicolor)
Tree Swallows are common throughout North Carolina during migration. They also breed in the Mountain region and in dead trees in the large man-made lakes in the Piedmont. In the lower Coastal Plain there may be large flocks in winter. Alleghany Co., NC 4/15/06. | |
