Salvia regla (Mountain Sage)

Large bright orange blooms in October-December on 4' tall deciduous shrub. Do not cut back in winter - leaves will resprout from buds on the stem.

Zone 7, Sun/Semi-shade, Dry, 4', orange-red flowers in late fall, native to Texas and Mexico.
