Ecuador Moth Photos - Moths
by Will Cook
Here's a selection of Lepidoptera images from a trip to Ecuador, November 17-December 7, 2007. I managed to photograph about 90 species. We saw lots of great birds, too. All photos were taken using a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ50, most with the addition of a Sony VCL-M3358 close-up lens. Please let me know if you can help with some of the identifications!

This colorful tiger-striped day-flying Lepidopteran looks a lot like a butterfly, but the antennae are not clubbed. Sumaco, Ecuador | |
